Are you interested in participating in one of our studies?

We are currently recruiting participants for a number of studies!

STUTTERING IN TODDLERS: If you have a child who is 2 or 3 years old who has recently begun stuttering, we would love to hear from you! We are conducting a longitudinal study on language development and fluency. Study participants will receive a communication assessment, a summary report of the child's performance, a digital copy of your recorded parent-child play session each year to include in your family's "memory album", monetary compensation, and a small toy for your child at each visit.

LATE-TALKING TODDLERS: If you have a child between 2;0 and 2;6 – who does not yet combine words, and seems to have limited vocabulary, despite apparently good understanding of language – we would love to hear from you! We are conducting a longitudinal study on language development. Study participants will receive a communication assessment, a summary report of the child's performance, a digital copy of your recorded parent-child play session each year to include in your family's "memory album", monetary compensation, and a small toy for your child at each visit.

SPANISH-ENGLISH BILINGUAL TODDLERS: If you have a child who is 2 or 3 years old who is being raised in a Spanish-English speaking household, we would love to hear from you! We are conducting a longitudinal study on bilingual language development. Study participants will receive a communication assessment, a summary report of the child's performance, a digital copy of your recorded parent-child play session each year to include in your family's "memory album", monetary compensation, and a small toy for your child at each visit.

ADULTS WHO STUTTER: We are currently conducting a study investigating language factors that may distinguish adults who stutter from adults who do not stutter. Participants will be compensated after completion of the study.

TEENS AND COLLEGE STUDENTS: We are recruiting 16 to 24 year-olds who are either college-bound high school students or current college students for a language study. We are looking for participants WITH OR WITHOUT diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder. This study involves a one-time testing session during which participants are asked to complete several measures of their language skills. All participants are compensated monetarily.
